Post to the Savannah Scroll
How Savannah Scroll works
Savannah Scroll is a scrolling digital board showing what’s happening around Savannah right now — deals, events, and things to do, posted directly by local businesses.
Posting takes five steps: sign up with your business name and a way to verify you’re real (an EIN, a business license number, or your website); write one line; pay $15; and in most cases, it’s live within seconds. The only time a person manually looks at your message before it posts is the very first time your account signs up — after that, you’re trusted, and only something our automatic check flags needs a second look.
One message, every 24 hours. Each business can run one post per day. It clears automatically at midnight, so there’s nothing to take down yourself.
Keep it to one clean line. Messages that read like spam — ALL CAPS, excessive punctuation, scammy phrasing like “click here now,” or anything touching a restricted topic — get caught automatically before you ever pay, and you’ll be told what to fix. Nothing is charged until your message passes.
Your link lives on your name, not in your message. Add a website or social link once in your account, and your business name becomes clickable on the board. That way your whole message is just the pitch — no characters spent on a URL. Changing your link gets the same quick one-time look a new account does.
If something’s taken down: if it’s a genuine mistake on our end, you’re refunded. If it’s a rules violation, it isn’t — so it’s worth giving your message a quick once-over before you post.
